New Year’s Resolution

Published by pianogeek at 1:47 pm under Life in General, Nostalgia Edit This

I have made a resolution to earn more money online this year.  Last year I didn’t think it was possible to make a living out of passive income.  That’s the money you earn when you are doing anything.  For example, I write for a very popular howto website.  People read my articles, click on the ads next to the articles, the website gets their money from the clicked on ads and then they give me a cut of it.  It can be 4:00 a.m., and I am sleeping and someone reads my article on Buying Electric Razor and click on an ad of an elecric razor on the page and I receive part of the revenue.  It drops into my Paypal account and stays there until I want it.

When I started all this last year, I didn’t think it was possible to make any real money, and only worked on it once a week, but after several months when I checked my earnings and saw that I had earned about $35, I was pretty happy. I thought, if I can earn $35.00 for writing 20 articles, what can I get if I write 300.  I started working on my goal of writing 300 articles in 2008 and by the last day of this month, of this year, I will have written 450 articles.  Happy to say, I have a steady passive income, that last year I never had.  I have learned a lot and have taught a lot over the year.

Because I had tunnel vision, it wasn’t until the end of the year, I started to find out about other  ways I could generate income.  Like today.com, if I get up every morning and blog about yesterday and share my thoughts with everyone, I earn a passive income.  I found another website that if I post the link, just the link of my how to article, then I get a little passive income.

My goal this year is to find the best of the best websites where I can get a passive income, get it all organized and down pat on what to do and then make my New Year’s Resolution
